I just saw some reports on the raw ground turkey recall and salmonella poisoning and was startled to see in the article that several people were sickened in households where pets were being fed raw food. At least two pet food companies who sell raw turkey have recalled them along with many well known human ground turkey companies. Since some on this forum feed raw, wanted to share this as the only reports I saw in January were human food. With many of these meat recalls, people often keep it in freezer so use it much later
