Harness next size

Our Hav outgrew his Petsafe harness, which is what we used for longer walks or when hes running around, so Im looking to replace it. I could get the same one, but I thought the next size up has thicker straps. I like the thin straps because they are lighter and seem to minimize matting. I still have a puppia, which I really like for potty trips, and a fancy harness that is cute but mats really badly if he wears it too long. I have a long list of harnesses id like to check out based on forum recommendations, but Id love to know if any of them clip in the front and are fairly light and thin.

Freedomnopullharness.com sells a choke free harness for dogs under 20 pounds. I just got this last week and seems good so far. Very light weight and easy to get on and off.

So many colors!

Do you know about how thick the straps are and what size you went with? Ive noticed as my dog as outgrown harnesses before that the straps seem to get wider on a lot of brands between XS and S.

I actually got this for my yorkie because he is hard to fit in harnesses. They have instructions on the site how to measure. I followed the instructions and fits him perfect. I got the size 16 which is typically for dog weighing 10-13 pounds. He measures 15 inches around and then you add one inch. My Havanese wears a Buddy Belt in size 4 which works for her. I may switch her to the choke free harness but she would probably need a bigger size. She is wider in the girth than my yorkie. I just measured the harness and the straps that go around the legs are 1/2 inch wide and the upper part is one inch wide. The leather is very soft.
