An interesting read to be sure.

Not sure how much weight I put to their findings because "The data used records from a large veterinary chain, Banfield Pet Hospitals, across the United States, hence the size of the sample." I know that when I was looking for a Vet for Skye I didn't like what I found about Banfield. It looked to me like a large corporate conglomerate that focuses more on profit than animal welfare. Hence during my search I immediately disqualified any Vet associated with Banfield. Does their focus on the bottom line skew the data? I don't know.
