Another Oliver at six months

Our little guy (a member of the Oliver/Ollie contingent) is now six months old and was recently neutered. He hated wearing the cone but wouldn't leave the sutures alone so had no choice. He is 10.5 lbs, but not overweight in the slightest. In fact, he seems quite tall for his weight, so I expect he'll fill out quite a bit. His face is starting to change color and he has areas of hair that are a beautiful pewter color. I actually hope his hair on his face continues to get lighter, as it's hard to see his beautiful eyes with all that dark hair.

He is incredibly attached to his daddy and me and brings us so much joy. He is very energetic and a bit of a scamp, but super funny and entertaining. We love him dearly.

While I don't post often, I find this forum incredibly helpful and am deeply appreciative of the very knowledgeable members who take the time to answer so many questions. Here are a few pics of Oliver that make me smile.

He has such a sweet face! My little guy will get neutered sometime this summer, and I'm not looking forward to the recovery time. He'll likely need a cone too, so energetic. Love Ollie's coloring!

So cute. Tell Ollie the cone will be off soon poor little man. With my two the cone hurt me more than it hurt them. My legs were black and blue from them banging in to me all the time. Haha.

My sister's cavapoo had a collar when he was neutered (before we learned about the power of the onesie!) We started with a doughnut but Mr. Flexible was able to easily bend himself around it to get to his incision so on went the collar. The poor guy though, while the absolute sweetest dog in the world, is not the brightest bulb - so he kept getting 'stuck' when he would bend down to sniff something and the cone would snag on the carpet/ floor/ etc Took him so long to figure out how to walk around with it! It was really funny though
