help! no poop in 4 days!

oh,i don't know what to do. django has been sick for the past 2 weeks with diarreah. he has been on flagyl which helps with everything. he's on a bland diet since sunday. his last poop was tuesday afternoon, it had been 2 days since his last BM and it was very soft. of course, i am out of town, he's with the great dog sitteer. i am calling the vet this morning, i gave him 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin. it's too cold to walk him outside to get things going. he has to be miserable!

It happened to my Chihuahua. She had hemorragic gastroenteritis and was on medicine and bland diet for some days. Her last stool was soft and she was like 3 days without a BM and then she began making nice poop. I was worried as you. The day I was going to call the doctor she did so I am not sure it is normal or not but I wanted to let you know that it happened to me. Good luck.

When Tucker was on a bland diet he went 3 days without a BM. We called the vet and he told us Tucker would probably to that day or the next. Sure enough, he did. Sure Hope Django back to normal quickly for your sake and his.

Hi,
I'm sorry you are out of town and so worried. Maybe the dog sitter can throw balls in the house.

Milo was recently suffering from some sort of stomach virus. He was on meds and a bland diet. It took three days for hime to poop. He's just fine now.

Great News! My kids laugh at DH and myself for being such big poop watchers. I remind them it's just like having a kid around. Gotta make sure they're pooping on schedule.

lol that ALWAYS happens. I had a similar problem with Ninja's BM a couple of weeks ago after he was neutered and freaked out. Nutrical seemed to help along with the pumpkin. It's great to hear he's okay now
