And maybe can't even be counted as an accident. Savi's puppies are 10 weeks old. They've had free run of the house for several weeks now, and have never had an accident. To start with, we had a litter box in the living room for them, but they all run into the back puppy room to use the boxes there.
This morning was the first time one had an accident, if it really counts as one. The toy box on the hearth had all the toys drug out of it, and only a large chew left in it that they couldn't get out. One of them, and I don't know which one, jumped in the box, and pooped. No picture of the poop, but I did take a picture of the box, so you might judge whether or not it would be counted as an accident. It is, after all, a plastic box much like the one they first started in with one side cut down to bed level.
Also, I know everyone wants to see puppy pictures, so here's the screened porch, with a new tile floor, and screen doors. And another picture that you can better see the pups in a lineup. The one on the left is not really that much larger than the others, but just stood up closer to my phone when I was taking the picture.
And the middle one? I so wish he was coming to my house!
How old are they now and how much weight have they gained since they were born? Their coats look beautiful.
The middle boy is leaving before long. He's going to Pa.
They were not quite 7 oz. at birth, and between 3 and 4 pounds now. They are all very healthy. They probably look bigger in the picture because I was pretty close to them when I took it.
My little one, Patti, is indoor housebroken and when the weather's bad or for other reasons that she can't go outside, she knows where to go in the house. Not long ago I left Patti overnight with my daughter who decided to let Patti sleep with her. Daughter moved Patti's potty tray into her bedroom. When Patti went into daughter's bedroom and spied the potty tray, she hopped right on it and peed.
I think that whoever emptied the toy box and used it for their bathroom is a smart little one, and is showing themselves to be a super thinker and problem solver!
I had to go back and look at the pictures to see what trampoline you were talking about. There is a puppy trampoline, that's round, but it's not in those pictures. The round thing is a swing.
What looks like a trampoline, that they're lined up on, is a dog cot. The mesh top is tentioned tight.
The second boy went to his forever home today, so the girl is here by herself, to stay, but she's loose in the house with the other dogs, and hasn't missed her brothers a bit.
I really did just try to take a picture of her, and Lucy rolling on the floor playing, but by the time I was able to get the phone out of my pocket, they all ran over to my feet to see what I was doing. I promise to get some pictures.
I snuck up on them, and caught a picture, but I don't know if it looks like anything but a furball. This is Ruby (the red girl seen earlier in this thread), and Lucy playing.
Oh!! A dog cot!! How cute!! My Zoey sleeps on her plastic mesh pee pee pad cover!! Go figure!! Even though she has a very comfy plush bed. Maybe she would like a dog cot!!
