Thumbs up Another Milestone for Skye

I have been getting Skye out to experience life... puppy classes, visits to Petco, other pet supply stores, Home Depot, etc. Yesterday we decided he was ready for the big test. So we went to Seattle Premium Outlet mall. We went on Friday, so it wasn't extremely crowded. Still plenty of activity though with baby strollers, running and yelling teenagers, other dogs, and groups of people.

He made me very proud! Walked calmly by my side the whole day. Looked at other dogs but didn't try to drag me over to meet them. Sat very nicely when petted by strangers and only had paws off the ground when a couple of ladies talked to him very excitedly and were a little vigorous in their petting. He hadn't had any prior experience with very small children and was very calm when they petted him. What a change from the little guy I nicknamed "Devil Dog" when he was a little pup!

I attached the photo with my wife because his expression reminds me so much of Ricky Recardo's avitar

Good boy Skye!!! Way to go!!!! I hope my Zoey can follow in your footsteps. She's trying very hard to sit and stay for long periods of time (a couple minutes or so) with distractions! LOL
