He was SO fascinated that I decided to get him a Cookie Monster puppet to play with him with. THAT was a BAD idea. It's the only time I've gotten bitten by one of my dogs! Of course, he didn't understand that it was my hand inside the puppet, and when he saw it, he LUNGED at it and bit it in the head. With my hand inside! LOL! After that, he got to play with Cookie Monster by himself. I still haven't got the faintest idea what significance this particular Sesame Street character has to him. He has absolutely no interest in or reaction to any other.
Oh Karen, that is so funny! Sorry to laugh at your pain!

That is funny. Skye's breeder sent a small Oscar the Grouch home with him. It is still his favorite toy. I don't leave it out for him for fear he will chew it up, but he is always so excited when I bring it out. It's a good motivator for training sessions.

Kodi is 10 years old and I can’t let him have the big pink lamb his breeder sent him home with, or he will start humping it. (And he believes in rough sex!) I know he will destroy it. He doesn’t get that excited about ANY other toy. Pixel is also REALLY attached to the Purple Monkey she came home with. But she is much more gentle with hers, so she gets to sleep with him every night. But it has to be kept locked in her crate during the day, because it will cause a dog fight if one of the others even LOOKS at it! LOL! (and Pixel as almost no interest in other toys)
