Loki and Zorro
Zorro has been home since Sunday night. He and Loki are doing great - lots of playing. They ran zooms together this morning for the first time. Loki zealously guards my lap if I am sitting on the floor by nudging Zorro away with his nose. He also nudges Zorro away from the toys even though he actually has no interest in the toy. It is funny and sweet to watch. Zorro is totally in love with Loki - following him everywhere. Zorro would keep going until he fell over, so I put him in his ex pen to nap and give Loki a rest.
Sleep is going well. He slept from 10 -6 in the crate by out bed. I am thrilled. 4th night home and he slept through the night. I know that won't be every night. I feel like it is kind of like babies - sleep begets sleep. The better he naps during the day, the better he sleeps at night.
Potty training is going well too. He has consistently used the UGoDog in the ex pen with no problems. Except, he seems to be a poop eater and I can't have eyes on the ex pen all the time. Loki's UGoDog is by the door to the back yard from the family room where Zorro gets to roam when I am watching him. Zorro has found it and uses it when he needs to go while playing. This morning, the back door was cracked open for Loki. I was watching Zorro, he went to the pad to go number 2, noticed the door was open, and went out to the potty area. It is 3 feet from the back door and I was following. Only 1 accident yesterday - daddy's fault for not taking him out when I told him that the whimper meant he needed to go.
Pictures of Zorro and Loki - I am working on trying to figure out video. If anyone has simple answer, I would appreciate.
