Bully Stick for 3 mo old puppy?

I bought a 3 " bully stick for my new 3 mo old puppy. Is this OK to give to my young dog or should she be older?

Skye has had bully sticks ever since we brought him home at 10 weeks old. Never a problem with them. I do cut off the ends if they get all soft and wet. I don't want him to be able to bite off a big chunk. Our morning routine is lots of good morning lovin' and then I read the paper and have my cuppa joe while Skye chews on his bully stick.

Just keep an eye on them when they start to get small enough to swallow when you arenít looking at your puppy. cassie could demolish one very quickly and did not like to give them up. We bought the curled kind that she could hold better. We started limiting chew time when it seemed like over doing it on a bully stick might have been related to some stomach issues. I know some people recommend harder things, but I liked the bulky sticks because there was almost no chance of breaking a tooth on one of them...as a grown up, she has no interest in them any more (thank goodness as they smell) but gave her many happy hours as a pup. Now she really likes frozen kongs with little bits of food inside. She works on those for a long time.

Bully sticks were perfect for my puppy. We were sent home with one from the breeder and Iím so glad because Iím not sure we would have discovered them on our own. We tried lots of different chews and some are good for other situations but the bully stick is definitely the best fit for our dog. Itís not too hard or too soft for his level of chewing, so it lasts a long time, but he still is able to make some satisfying progress each time I give it to him.

My puppy loves his bully stick. My breeder sent a braided one home with him and he uses it to chew when heís tired and it settles him down into sleep mode!
