9 week old Therapy dog

Rosebud went for her first shots today. After the Vet visit, Pam carried her to visit the Assisted Living Facility where my 103 year old Mom is living. A lot of the other residents got to hold, and enjoy Rosebud.

My Mother had a small stroke last Summer, that affected the use of her left foot flexing. That foot is still unreliable, so she needs help getting up, and down. She's still completely clear headed, and as always, in good spirits.

This is my Mom, and Rosebud.

Normally, our whole family goes to her house for Thanksgiving Dinner. This was the first one that that hasn't happened, for decades.

Near her Assisted Living place, there is a Cracker Barrel. We took her there tonight, and they had to put tables together. She said it was a great time, and great not to have to clean up. She's quite a character.

She's the oldest person they've ever had living there, the oldest person almost anyone there has ever met, and is loved, and admired by all, residents, and staff. It's almost like she's looked up to as a hero for making it that far.

I know you are thankful to still have your mother in your life. Family is important. Kudos to Rosebud for brightening up her day and the day of the others who live in the facility. Dogs have a way of making us feel better physically and emotionally. Pets bring so much joy to our lives and families, that's why they deserve to be cared for and loved. Thankful today for family, friends and our four-legged family members.

That is the way it should be!
Your mom does look great for her, besides being beautiful.
