Easy to say, hard to do on a Havanese, where they are totally mixed in with facial hair...

That's interesting! I assume whiskers will grow back if cut.

They do. I can certainly see not cutting them off dogs with short facial hair, like a whippet. But on a Havanese, they are all mixed in with all their other hair. It's really impossible to trim their facial hair at all and not get the whiskers, because they grow longer than on a short-haired dog, just like all the other hair.
