One of these things...

...is not like the others...

She is being raised by wolves. She runs to the gate, right with the whole bunch of them to bark every time a delivery truck comes down the driveway!

(BTW) the only reason Kodi is not in the picture is that he still is gated in the office because of his shoulder. He's right there... you just cant see him!

Nice you already have plenty of gates for “the one not like the others”. Of course, that one has hands that in a few years will figure out how the latches work, but by then you won’t need to keep “that one” in... for now, probably puts things in its mouth just like the rest of the gang requiring the same space limitations.

Yes, all those gates were actually there BEFORE the two legged animal (and her sibling dogs) moved in. The gate on the right is my office. (where Kodi is convalescing) My three get gated in there whenever we are out of the house. The gate to the left is to keep Panda downstairs. Allowed UPSTAIRS, she plays “Goldilocks” and unmakes every bed in the house. Every.single.day. Not appreciated. The gate across the entry way is to keep them away from the front door. There are full length windows on either side of the door. (What was I thinking when I had THOSE put in?!?!) If allowed in there, the dogs spend the day barking at the squirrels and turkeys that congregate under the oak tree, or waiting to bark at any delivery truck that comes down the driveway. The gate at least gives a LITTLE separation.

The baby really only needs the one to keep her off the stairs.

We have a gate for the bathroom where Cassie stays when we are out of the house, a gate across the den where the grandchildren keep many small plastic toys (star wars, my little pony and other action figures that taste great) and drop crumbs, a gate across the area where the cat has her litter box and leaves more tasty things, a folding gate to keep her from unsupervised visits to the living room where the front door and mailman live....then there are some gates that moved to storage in the garage after she got fairly wide access to the house although I had to lock her out of my bedroom today while I changed sheets because she insists on helping by getting on top of the bed at the same time. Living with a Havanese requires outsmarting her sometimes...

LOL! That’s for sure! Once Kodi started feeling better, I had to put an expen around the couch in my office, because Kodi kept jumping up on it, and I didn’t want to take a chance on him jumping off it. Now under normal circumstances, he almost NEVER bothers to j7mp up on that couch. But I guess becuase he is otherwise so limited in options for things to do, right now, it seems like an attractive option!

My kids and I were laughing so hard at Panda unmaking the beds! Sundance loves to nest in beds, so we could picture some of Panda’s antics. We were clearly imagining her unmaking one bed, then the next, until all of the beds were Panda-ed and she proudly finished her “job.”

Yeah. We thought it was funny the first few times too.

All the pillows must also be pushed OFF the beds onto the floor. She is quite thorough. And I really have NO idea what the purpose is. She comes downstairs afterward with a very satisfied look on her face.

I think it’s nesting behavior, which is cute in its proper place, but... LOL!
