Colouring Question for Chocolate Havanese

Hi all!
My Duke is a Chocolate Havanese. When we got him from the breeder at 8 weeks, he was a dark brown on his head and in various spots on his body. Now at 7 months and after his first puppy cut, the dark brown has faded to a medium to light brown and there seems to be less of it. This is our first Havanese and not knowing a lot about their coat and coloring, I'm wondering how common this is and if I should expect the brown to fade even more? Could he end up all white?

He could, but when chocolates really silver out/fade, it tends to be much more significant by his age. Havanese colors kind of do their own thing. Black & whites and creams are the ones that are least likely to change/fade, but even they can!

Yes, as KarMar said, if he is still this dark at this age, he might fade a bit more, but he is likely to stay fairly dark. Honestly, he is darker than most chocolates already.
