Does your dog like rain?

Both of my dogs love being out in the rain as long as it is not storming or a super torrential down pour. However, heavy rain is okay with them. My yorkie walked over a mile this morning in the pouring rain and he was soaked to the skin. He would have gone farther except mom looked like a drowned rat and wanted to go home. Supposedly yorkies do not like dampness...right. Mia has super thick hair. I don’t think she even knows she is wet. Just curious what other dogs do or if mine are just abnormal!

Haha, that's great! I have always wanted an excuse to get an umbrella like this, it sounds like you have one ;)

I mean, I can't think of any umbrella better than a print with dogs holding umbrellas for other dogs. It just makes me smile, and it makes DD laugh at what a nerd I am. Too bad it rarely rains here!

Although, I grew up in Oregon and never used an umbrella. It was grunge era nineties and it was way more cool to suffer, even if you had an umbrella in your backpack.

My princess will not go out in the rain nor will she go out if the ground is too wet. We have tried holding a large golf umbrella over her, putting a rain jacket on her, and offering delicious treats. She looks offended every time we try to get her to walk in the rain.

Thank goodness she has her litterbox as a backup option!

Mine will go out to potty in the rain, but only if we TELL them to... pretty firmly. Then they stop on the edge of the deck, and we have to firmly say, "off the deck!" Then they will go down into the yard. LOL!
