NIPPLES

Thought that might get a few looks
those that have light colored girls that went through heats a question about the nipples Vana's skin is pink and now her nipples look blueish, my husband is concerned I told him it is just her veins and blood flow to the area ( like human woman when they cycle) her veins in her leg are the same. Should I be concerned or is this normal?

few ?'s I posted but haven't got a reply:

I am going to describe Vana's behavior, tell me if you think it is characteristic common to the breed.

Loves to walk on her hind legs- she actually rides Izzy and Drake
The girl is like a jumping bean- like the dogs on the commercials jumping to see out the window
Her vocals sound as if she is going to start talking
she peels out with all fours- looks like she is doing the moonwalk...so cute
when she gets excited she sneezes, this fluffs up her hair
HATES when I leave- has to come w/me or she whines and scratches- even with the rest of the gang here.
She is stuborn, but very sensative- I raised my voice the other day and it looked as if she was going to cry- I felt so bad.

and she like to run when the door is left open, I heard that is a common theme also? lol Next payday she is getting microchipped!

I can't speak to the bluish color of her nipples. Ruby's seemed a little prominent at that time but I didn't look that closely to see the color.

As for the other questions.

Ruby's a jumper. If she doesn't get my attention when she wants to be picked up she will jump like a mexican jumping bean till I reach out for her.

One of mine sneezes occasionally, but for the life of me, I can't remember which one.

Those are the only similarities I can relate to.

Hi Jenny,
Can't answer the nipple question - but, yes, you caught me looking!

OK, yes to walking on the hind legs and jumping as if on a pogo stick. Augie used to do that a lot on our walks and I would see people driving by, pointing and laughing. I had gotten used to it and was no longer even noticing, until the pointing and laughing.

Augie isn't all that vocal, except to alert us to someone at the door or to a noise outside.

He does sneeze and fluffs out his hair. When I give the command 'speak', he will 'sneeze' and do the hair fluff thing.

Sensitive - yes.

Peeling out thing I haven't noticed - not sure what you mean by that. Do you have slick floors? We have carpeting.

Augie doesn't mind when I leave, or maybe he does, but at least there is no visible sign. He just knows to go in the kitchen and I put up the gates.

Obedience training will help with the running out the door. Augie is very good about waiting to go out the door until I tell him it's OK. But we have a few classes under our belt now and, with each additional class, he is better and better about such things.

Hope I hit on them all.

Oh, forgot to say, both my boys are very sensitive. Ms. Tuesday, a little less. maybe because she got yelled at so much.

yes like a pogo stick lol, she does it to be held also. When I say ride Drake and Izzy she puts her front legs on their back and as they run she runs on her hind legs- and keeps up!

the peel out- it is like a show off thing- she tries to get Drake's attention and gets excited- I will try to video it next time she does it- it is really funny! She does it while standing still then kicks her feet like a bull- I have seen dogs do just the back paws-she does the front too!

Yes, DO try to get a video - sounds cute as heck! Also of her riding Drake and Izzy! Sounds like you have a character there! It must be so much fun for them when they have other dogs to play with on a daily basis............. poor Augie.........
