Doggie Clothes

One of the things I thought was ridiculously cute while living in Japan was how a lot of people liked to dress up their dogs. Does anyone here ever do this?

We have a beetle and Godzilla costume for our cats Maybe Eva will get big enough to fit into them by Halloween.

Unfortunately don't have a good pic of the beetle one but here's a pic of a poodle in the same costume:

Its cute, i do have some really cute outfits for Gucci, a pair of denim overalls that are too cute for words and a few dresses, but I really only dress her for special occasions or if we go out somewhere with her with us.

But I keep her in full coat so clothes always mat her up fairly quickly, so they don't stay on too long or often and that is the main reason why.

Cute costumes! They have so many neat ones available online these days.

yes- both Cocotini and Candy have a wardrobe full of clothes!! Candy is a maltese and LOTS of maltese owners dress their pups- not nearly as many Hav owners. I think it's partly to do with size. Cocotini is a small havanese weighing only a little over 8 pounds- larger dogs (like Mindy) don't look quite as cute in clothes nor are many clothes made in sizes to fit larger dogs.

I will say almost all of their clothes double as harness dresses, so they actually do have a purpose besides looking cute, too.

Aww all those outfits are so cute!

I just ordered some outfits for Eva. They won't arrive here until May unfortunately but I ordered larger sizes so hopefully she'll fit into them by then

HaHa- it doesn't!! Actually that was just for fun- if I wanted her to keep it on longer I'd attach ribbons to tie under her chin. She'll keep it on her head long enough to take pictures as she doesn't mind hats, but if I wanted her to keep it on for walking around I would definitely need to put the ribbons on it.

Did you Paint the painting on you profile picture?
I painted a lot in fine arts school way back when . Ceramics was my main interest. I have taken up painting again because I do not have a ceramics studio anymore here is one of my first paintings in Over 30 years.
