Thanks for sharing

To those of you who have shared your stories lately ,thanks . I'm referring to the health concern ones especially. It seems lately that there are so many sad and worrisome stories about health issues. Whether it's us or our dogs , it has a way of bringing us together. Please do not feel like you are laying your problems or your dog's problems on us. That's why we're here . It's as much therapeutic for us as well as you to be able to talk about these things that touch us all eventually. We sometimes take our health and our dog's health for granted and with events like today with Sally and Oliver ,we are quickly reminded that we really shouldn't . Please continue to lean on us when you need to share. We all benefit. Today brought me back to reality. I don't really know Sally, but she and Oliver have touched my heart . Thanks for reminding us how lucky we sometimes are . HYHYHT (Have You Hugged Your Hav Today?)

So true Dave. We're like family here. When one of us hurts, we all hurt. It's great to have a place to turn to when times are tough.

Thank you Dave. It is indeed true, the group helps support in time of loss and is also there for the joyful events. Oliver was indeed special. Sally has kept us in stitches with her great photographs and captions expressing her love for Comet and Oliver. I imagine many have been "sold" on this wonderful little breed after being on this list and seeing such captivating photographs as Sally and many other members post. What a great list this is in so many ways. Thanks to all who make it possible and all who keep their little Havs in our lives through these posts and photographs!

That is so true Dave, I have come to love this forum. When one of our Havanese friends Is sick or has too many mates I really feel for them even tho I have never touched or held them.
Today I feel a real sadness for the loss of Oliver
Today I am still thinking of Kodi
Today I am going to call my kids
Today I am going to take Maddie and Zoey on a nice walk.

One good thing is that through Sally's wonderful photography, Oliver will be a part of our community forever. When I think of all the cute, funny, sweet, huggable pictures of him...

I'm glad we've all gotten to know him through Sally's pictures and stories here on the forum.

Isn't that the truth. I wonder if Sally would like a YouTube video created of all the wonderful shots of Oliver. He was such a blessing to so many of us, but most of all to his doting mom.
