I guess I found out that even though I'm a whiner, I'm a survivor too! These were all independent study courses I was taking, 140 hours of DVD's and written assignments. I just got through making copies of all my written assignments (heaven forbid they should get lost in the mail on the way to University of San Diego). I can hardly believe that it's almost over and that I actually did this. I hope this is the last hoop that I'm asked to jump through, but you never know when you work in education.
Kimberley, good luck in Lompoc this weekend! I'll be keeping good thoughts for you. I sure wish I could make it, but it sounds fun to stay home with Willa too. What dog are you showing now? I've been showing my newest girl (Liveoak's Sweet Temptation - Tasha) and she has 6 points now. Before I adopted her, I was told that it can be very difficult to finish a black dog. I guess I would have to agree with that now. I really believe in her show quality though, so I'm hanging in there with her. I've had a professional handler on her, but I've decided that I'm going to start showing her myself now that my classes will be done. I think she'll be happier in the ring with me and because of that, her happy-go-lucky personality will come through. I hope we can make it to the South Bay show in August. That's probably a little bit far for you, isn't it Kimberley?
Well, I'd better get to bed. We're doing 2 to 3 hour feedings around the clock so I can't afford to miss any of my sleep!
PS I'm attaching a picture of Tasha. See, when I say black, I mean black!
