Mr. McGee

I thought we could use a thread to welcome the arrival of Kathie's McGee . So Kathie, what's his arrival date again?

Oh, sorry! We've had computers unplugged because of thunderstorms! The only pictures I have are on the other thread "We need your help....." Linda, his breeder, posted them directly.

Yes, he is officially named McGee, so Linda will start calling him by his new name now! We talked about April 8th but don't know if that is firm yet. We are going to Charleston, SC, to babysit our grandchildren the first of April for several days so we are having to wait until after that. Adding a 4 & 6 yr. old as well as a cockapoo puppy to the mix would not be a good thing for McGee to experience right off the bat!

I am trying to stay calm but it is hard - I'm so excited about our new baby! Thanks for all the well-wishes!

Thought you changed your mind ,and then decided to leave the country. GEEEEZZE Kathie , I don't know if I can wait that long. . Keep us up to date on anything exciting. Thanks . Oh yeah , we hope you have your camera ready to go. Better start practicing. WE are not excited with you past pictures , or should I say ,lack of them. LOL

Hopefully, McGee will be a little more cooperative in front of the camera than Abby! She always turns her head or walks away just as I'm snapping the pic! I'm hoping he will be a good influence on her!!!

I know - almost a whole month away! He did just turn 5 wks. yesterday. Patience is not one of my virtues so it will definitely be hard!

And Augie does just the opposite. I so want to get a photo of that cute little backside, or of him standing even, and he just plops down on his butt and stares at me when the camera comes out. Kind of a vain little stinker!

It IS hard waiting for them! We waited 5 weeks for Augie, but we were able to visit once before we picked him up as it was only 2.5 hours away.
