OMG I thought it was his toy duck!!!!!

As some of you know Yogi aka Puff has a taste for wild Dove. I was getting ready to go to the store called him in I thought he had his duck toy, only when I took a look it was a real bird!!!! Calmly I had him follow me out (of course I grabbed my camera) in to the yard, snapped a couple as I was coming down the stairs, grabbed the pooper scooper and told him to drop it. At first I thought he wasn't going to...he did, OMG it was still alive and flew away!!!!! At least it wasn't a bunny. My boy is very naughty.

That is one lucky bird!! I sure hope I never catch Augie with a live critter in his mouth. But I can't believe Yogi didn't clamp down and shake the ---- out of it. That is what Augie does with his toys.

I call Sugarbaby my Havanese Retriever, I guess you will have to give your dog that title too!

What a good boy! For dropping it, and for not hurting it. And for protecting your yard from such a horrible intruder!

Robbie, congratulations for being so cool, calm and quick thinking! I would have freaked! The most vicious thing Abby has attacked was a huge Palmetto bug (aka roach) that we have in our woods. I just screamed for her to drop it - nasty!!!
