Hmm, You won't know its the venison unless you feed him plain, fresh, cooked venison and if you have the same result then you could rule out all of the other additives in the food (sweet potato, etc) some veggies can also put them in overdrive.

if he isn't on probiotics yet, add some sprinkles to his food, it helps SO much.

Gucci does fine on venison, although, it isn't easy to find, the butcher near our house sometimes carries it, but she loves the stuff.

Natural Balance is great but sweet potatoe is listed 1st then venison- my dogs pooped a ton on this too!

Taste of the Wild has a venison/bison formula- has some lamb in it too - so too much Izzy gets itchy ears.

bison is a really good protein too- solid gold has just a wee bit and the kibble is small.

well, i realized after talking to the staff of pet people, it's the sweet potatoe that's causing the problems for my little guy. sweet potatoes are the first ingredient listed vs. protein. he's not getting enough protein, thur, always hungry and the SP is adding bulk to his diet so more poop. i switched him to harring and SP with SP being second ingredient. it's by california natural.

Merill sells a venison canned food that we feed Eva sometimes. I can't wait for deer hunting season so I can get some fresh venison from my friends. Yum!!

Havee gets about a tablespoon of canned Evangers venison as a topper for his kibble. I change it up with the beef too. Haven't noticed any extra pooping!

I never thought dogs eat vegetables such as sweet potato. Sweet potato does not only make you a poop machine but also a fart machine.
