It's cute, and I'm glad it's working for this little guy so far. As long as he seems happy (and he certainly does now) it's all good. But it IS because he's a miniature horse, with a lot less weight on his leg... even then he's not sound on it, even at the walk. As far as I know, they've never had it work, long-term, on a full-sized horse though they've tried a number of times.

Fortunately, dogs and cats do MUCH better with a bum (or missing) leg, prosthetic or not.

I saw the Mini horse on the news last night and thought the same thing about Mcgee

I think it is incredibly heartwarming that people got together to make this happen for this little horse. I found it really touching.
