Is this a Hav?

Was perusing the animal shelter's website because of a local news story about it here. I saw this listing and thought this boy looks awfully like a Havanese:

Either way I'm glad he found a home

aha wow and now I feel like a dummy. I just realized this is the Franklin County shelter in OHIO, not NC. I would have felt like a REAL dummy if this guy hadn't been adopted already and I went to the Franklin County shelter here looking for him

Glad you figured it out! The little guy looks like some ShihTzu in him...that's my guess.

Yeah I could see some Shihtzu. Considering it's an Ohio shelter I wonder if the poor guy came from a mill situation

my pup is 1/2 hav 1/2 shih tzu. shih tzu's have an underbite and this guy doesn't, but his eyes are a little buggy. if you have a shot of his body, that'll be helpful.

When I moved to the South I notice most of the small dogs in rescue are labeled Terrier or beagle mix when they come from the county pound.

Robbie, Boo Boo, Yogi, and Misty's human.

Yhup, definitely have a havanese in it. Every dog is special and I think they also deserve something special just like a home.
