It's almost April...Snow Lovers (pics)

Here we have had an abundance of snow this winter ACK. Normally we would be melting and muddy but not this year. Shots I took today.

A sample of the many drifts we Still Have which has changed and taken on a personality of it's own.

Our summer haying tractor..

One of my Welsh ponies in the wind...

Oh and my near six foot tall stud fence with the top rail almost in snow to the very top.

My dad next to the barn on a five foot drift. Easy to clean the eavestroughs...lol

And my Havs out enjoying the landscape before we did our walk home. Didn't edit the camera close snap on that one either. LOL my excuse is it's too cold.

And I thought we had it bad this winter. At least your snow looks firmly packed as the babies race around in it. I can't imagine still having that around as April knocks on our door. Although I just heard that we might have snow or rain tomorrow. I'll vote for rain.

It depends on the type of snow and if it rained and froze on top of it. Often the snow is too soft,, and yes they just sink in. My guys dont care one bit, they just do the bunny hop through the snow, making sure of course, that their bellies and underarms get FULL of snow/ice balls
Then you get the harder snow where they just walk on top. That kind of snow is not as fun for them!!! No matter what type we snowblow the paths for them to run and play, but they always end up off the paths and IN THE SNOW!!
fOR A DOG FROM CUBA - THEY LOVE THE SNOW!!

Oh I love the snow, when it is good and thick, the pups love it too,I just think it is the most amazing, stunningly beautiful element[as long as I am wrapped up good and warm]We have been to Lapp Land 3 times and it is amazing in temps of minus 30.
