Don't hate yourself. Sometimes you just have to yell at them. When Ruby was younger, I think she thought her name was (picture yelling this) "Oh No!!!!"

Just Milo and me, and . . . Bailey makes three . . . until Ruby said, "hey, what about me?"

Awwwww, don't beat yourself up, we've all yelled at them at some point or another. We ARE only human, and THEY are ever loving dogs. They might be confused for a minute, but they will still LOVE us with all thier little tail waggin' hearts!!

LOL..it is really funny how guilty you feel afterwards though! The good thing is you usually don't do it more than once or twice because the guilt is so overwhelming.....

DH was upstairs in bed the other night and heard me downstairs losing my temper with Abby. The next morning he gave me a lecture on how I was just making things worse by yelling! Luckily, Abby had already forgotten it.......lol Sometimes we just slip up!

Honestly, I yell at my dog a couple of times due to his mischievous behavior but I say sorry and hug him after I did that act. I realize that my dog is only playful that's why he is a little bit mischievous.

Thanks for everyone's support. I freaked out a bit because then he started looking at me with his ears back (per google, sign of fear and timidness)

But like you said, he seems to have forgiven me this morning. But it was a good lesson for me, they are sensitive dogs.

I yell so much that Rosie thinks that is just when I am trying to get her attention--sorta like my grandchildren. Don't pay any attention to Granny until she loses it and starts yelling--then we come running.
