Favorite Games

Just wondering what some of your favorite games are with your Cuban canines ? Molly loves all of hers but I think Hide Da Treat might be her favorite. Quite simple , I just put her in a stay upstairs and then hide a treat downstairs . Sometimes she has to wait a couple of minutes, (patience is a virtue), I call her ,and she comes booting down the six stairs to the family room. Funny how they are creatures of habit, she will automatically do a lap around the coffee table and then start her classic clacking sound that she makes and try to hone in on the hidden treat. She's very methodical and generally finds it within a minute or so. Then she sits there and I go upstairs and hide another one. She never gets tired of this game. I still laugh at her clacking sound. I've only stumped her once ,where she couldn't find it. Great fun.

Molly sounds adorable!

Ceylon and I play fetch (I know, not very creative lol). The only problem is that he has the fetch part down, but not the drop it (yes, I know, something to train him on). So I use two of his toys and alternate - he always drops the first toy as soon as I wiggle/squeak the second above his head lol, then he happily goes and fetches the second one. He shakes the toys so hard on the way back though, sometimes one will fly out of his mouth and land far away, and he doesn't yet fetch if I haven't thrown the toy directly either, so I have to go 'fetch' it myself

I like this thread too and think I will need to borrow Dave's game...I like the idea alot......I'm like Heather...I throw toys and balls for them to chase...Smokey is good about dropping it for me but when he's done playing he keeps it and hops up on the couch or recliner and drops it there so I know he's done lol......

Fetch is always a FAVORITE with Tillie! I am working on the hide and seek game using her toys instead of a treat... she has a VERY hard time being patient and waiting for me to HIDE it. LOL
A few times a week, I will hide several small treats throughout her toy basket and let her go to town digging and sniffing them out! She LOVES this game. and the treats. LOL

Geeze Tammy if I threw a treat in Molly's toy box she would have fifty toys on the floor trying to find it. Mind you she will put them back , but I'm not sure of fifty. LOL

Mine is similar to your hide and seek Dave...I have her sit and stay in the kitchen and I take a treat and put it in the toe of a sock, ball up the sock real good and then go hide it in the living room. I say ok and she takes off like a bat out of hell to look for it. She finds the sock and then has her own way of manipulating/tossing/chewing it to get the treat out. She loves it!! She is always seems so proud of herself when she finds it LOL

ha ha ha ... oh, yes, at LEAST 50 toys all over the living room.. but it "buys" me at least 10 minutes of "peace" and quite! LOL and being the doll that she is, she puts all her toys back. NOT. LOL
