Beautiful conflict

I got to spend the weekend with my beautiful son Sam. It was mom's weekend at UT in Austin, I miss him so much and I'm so happy about his life here and how well he's doing... but.....

I MISS MY PUPPY!! I've been with him every day since we got him three weeks ago. I work at home so we've never been apart more than a few hours.

Oh dear... I did make a point not to drone on about him around Sam and his friends.

Coach is home with DH this weekend, which is a good thing, great for them to bond without me around. but i miss his little face

oh and last but not least I miss Jon my DH too... he kinda knows he's been bumped down a level since Coach arrived. but after this weekend I might have been too... all his texts were about him and Coach, way too cute.

Yes, Sam is my youngest son, second year at college. I have another son that I also adore, Steve... he's about to graduate this June. Jon is husband...

Steve and Sam met Coach over spring break and loved him...

Thanks for asking for the clarification... it's late, typing and thoughts probably weren't clear

Hi Laura,

No worries - I think I am being the odd one here actually, and everybody else would already know what you meant.

Now that I know what you meant, I know exactly what you mean!!! Well, not actually - I haven't yet had to leave Ceylon for more than a few hours at a time - but I know how I WOULD feel if I had to leave him for a few days. I already spend a couple hours a day (it feels like) loving and petting him... and being SO thankful that we have him... and wondering what, exactly, we did before we had him lol. Its crazy how our lives change when we get our havs, isn't it?!

Cute story. I'll bet dad is spoiling the pup rotten. He'll still be glad to see mom though. They always are.

I'm home and Coach acted like he knew and missed me. DH was very glad to see me too and told me all sorts of cute Coach stories.... they're in love :-)

I swear his mustache whiskers have grown in just two days (Coach not DH!)
