New Harness/Leash

I just wanted to share this new harness/leash duo we got for Jasper. I like it because it is so easy to get on...no more difficult than a leash. this is important because if it is not easy DH will not use it. Cash's (black) is back ordered.

I got this because of Jasper's hypothyroid diagnosis. It may be crazy but Jasper is a puller and although we have worked with him and he is better, he is still not perfect, and I was worried that using a regular leash may have contributed to damaging his thyroid. here is an article that Dave posted in another that poses this as a possibility, and made me think I was maybe not as crazy as I thought and got me to order a harness.

if any of you are thinking about this harness, I would order smaller rather than larger. usually small dog items run small, but the large was too big for my 18 lb boys and had to go back. the medium fits perfectly.

I also just wanted to add... I can't really address the matting issue as we keep the boys in a puppy cut. but so far there has been no matting which does still occur with a puppy cut.

Wow I love it. Thanks for sharing. It seems really easy to use. I hate to adjust the harness and I am the only one who knows how to put it on Ache.
I like this one...

I recently got step in harness/leash sets for both of my dogs. I really like them. It makes getting out the door so much easier.

Funny you posted this today since I was looking for Dave's original post on this topic...the harness looks great...so does it avoid putting pressure on the front of the neck like the article discusses?

oh wow that looks so much easier to put on then Kippers harness. He likes to turn into a wiggle worm when I am trying to put it on him and the cost is really reasonable (I paid about that for his harness and leash together)

That is a nice looking harness too. I like the minimal style to it. So many have such huge wide straps and stuff that matt like crazy. This surely would help in that area. Less to rub=less matting

Bella can get out of her Puppia harness so she has a harness leash and a leash attached to her collar. That gets us plenty of comments--such a tiny dog with two leashes! But I wondered how easy it would be to have her wiggle her way out of this one.

we have a very similar one for Lizzie. She does pull in it when she sees her friend. I love the harness. It is easy to put on and she jumps up a bit to get her legs out when we take it off.

I've seen those before and they look really easy (especially for husbands to figure out lol) although, I wondered if they would mat the armpit area, is the matting any worse than any other harness?
