Total Pet Supply

Have any of you used this company this place to order your ped meds from? I was going to order the advantix and heartguard for Harley, and wanted to check with you all first. It says the medication is generic. It's much cheaper than the name brand. Thanks in advance!

Be very careful on generic pet meds. A lot of them are made in China, packaged to look just like the brand name stuff, but they don't have the controls that they have here. There have been cases of deaths in dogs, linked to overdoses or contaminants in generic, internet sourced pet meds.

WOW... thanks for that quick response. I think I will just bite the bullet and spend the extra money. Harley is worth it!

I only buy from my vet. Just not worth the risk.

Same here. Saving a few dollars on the necessary meds isn't worth the cost of loosing a precious pet.

A quick Google check on the address tells me this is just a mail drop for an "out of country" pharmacy. They sell people drugs, dog drugs and also advertise birth control pills. One stop shopping!

I buy Rico's meds from Drs Foster & Smith. They are in Wisconsin and are very reputable. They do custom compounding and the prices for the cyclosporine eye-drops I buy are very reasonable. Their prices for Frontline and Advantage are higher than my vet's, though.

Online retailers and pharmacies can be good and bad. Do your research first!
