neuter today

This is my second post here.... little bit of therapy for me since I brought the little guy in for his neuter and microchip this morning. He is 9mo and i think i am more nervous than he is. Altho he resisted being led away. Vet is pretty solid and they are aware of my havanese concerns.

Got some good ideas searching the forums Alternatives to the Cone of shame.

thanks!

I remember how nervous I was on spay day and I'm sure you're feeling the same. You can try and keep busy but I know you will be just waiting for the phone call telling you that your baby is ok. Piper was really out of it when I picked her up so don't be alarmed if that's the case. He will bounce back in a few days!

I remember Yogi's day, I was walking on pins, until they called me and said I could come and collect him. Hope they call you soon and let you bring your little guy home. Hope he has a speedy and uneventful recovery.

Sending you good thoughts! I totally understand the anxiety having just gone through it.
Best of luck and he will be back to his old self in no time!

thanks everyone!!! Vet wanted him left overnite as he does with most of his "fixed" patients. He is doing well and I will get him in a few hours. Hopefully he won't want to lick too much.

This is my favorite cone of shame pictures ever! http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/p...closeTheater=1

I would copy and paste the picture but it is copyrighted, and I don't know if that is legal!

His name is Boris Fancypants on Facebook and Boris thinks he is a stud in his cone.

I hope your baby is back soon and feeling well.

We used a onsie on Will when he was neutered at 6 mo. When we went back to have the stitches removed, he had already taken them out himself! I don"t know when, probably overnight. Anyway, he was fine and the vet said he did a good job lol.
