Is anyone awake? Constipated puppy!

Soleil has a rock hard poo partially out but not enough, she's in obvious pain (half barking half howling like a seal) do i rush her to the vet or can I help her at home?

I hope somebody weighs in on this. I've never had it happen to any of mine.

Ohh gosh, I don't have an answer. Do you have a phone # of a emergency vet you can call and ask? Good luck.

yikes. maybe an enema is what the vet would do (meds would take too long) but I have no idea on even where to get a doggie enema, I'd call the emergency vet and ask.

So weird, I thought I responded already!

Thanks for your input. Soleil is fine. I called the vet who feared there might be an obstruction but in the time it took to find my shoes she made the most enormous poop ever. Huge relief for both of us!
