Ok this is a bit long, and probably a bit subtle as to why it made my heart melt, but I just had to share
Early today, I took Cey's harness off to brush him. Then, a few minutes later, he rang the bells to go out, so I grabbed the outdoor lead and realized that he wasn't wearing anything to hook it to lol, so I went and grabbed his harness from the couch where I had been brushing him, and went and put it on him. I put the harness on him, then went the few steps around the stuff to the door to pick up the lead, fully expecting him to be right on my heels as usual when he wants out and he knows I am going to let him out. I picked up the lead, and looked down for him, and he wasn't there! So I looked over the furniture, and there he was, in the same spot where I had put the harness on him. "Cey!!!!" I said, as if to say, "What are you doing?!". At which point, he began HOPPING over to me, and within a few hops, he was at my feet, where I realized that I had looped the wrong part of the harness around one of his legs, effectively tying his leg up underneath him LOL!
Of course I fixed his harness right away and let him out, but it really did make my heart melt. Basically, when something wasn't right, he stood there patiently waiting for me to fix it - and when I didn't, and I basically told him to move it, he accepted what I had done to him without any complaint whatsoever, and happily hopped over to me as if he was as used to getting around on 3 legs as on 4!!!!! Oh my goodness, I SO love my Ceylon
