Bad breath UGH help :(

Reggie is about 5.5 months now, and he is losing his baby teeth so his breath is STINKY (I am assuming that is why it has begun to really smell - he doesn't eat soft food and his diet has not been changed ). I try to brush his teeth and he will NOT allow it, can't even do it with one person holding him down and the other trying to brush. You would think he were being tortured! I bought doggy breath mints- same thing! He will lick them and "play" with them but not eat them. I tried to hide them in cheese and he freaked out! As I type he is lounging on the couch looking as if he just escaped death by toothpaste and mints! Does anyone have ANY advice of something to help with this stinky problem!? Thanks!!!

All I can say is that it does pass. Kipling's breath was terrible and then it wasn't anymore. We waited it out.

We use Oxyfresh for Panda's breath. Just a small amount in her water everyday and her breath is so much better! They have a website - I think its just oxyfresh.com....but you could certainly Google it....

Jack's breath was terrible too! It was BAD! Nasty! It would make you turn your head away! He was teething. I used Oxyfresh in the drinking water and it help the bad breath a lot. I mixed the mixture according to directions in a gallon jug of water and use this jug to refill the drinking water bowl.
