teeth cleaning and Leba III

well, django is scheduled to have his teeth cleaned next week. nervous of course but it needs to be done. they are really bad. that month of soft food and boiled chicken took it's tool on his teeth.
my breeder told me about Leba III spray for their teeth. the vet said it would be good to start after his cleaning. has anyone had luck with this product?

Yes, i use it on Gucci sometimes, I rotate between the Leba and the Petzlife gel, it just depends on where I am when I decide to brush her teeth because I keep 3 bottles scattered around the house and office for convenience.

She doesn't really like the spray and its hard for me not to spray her in the nose with the stuff, so I usually put it on my fingers and rub her teeth down with it, much like the gel, concentrating mostly on the molars that tend to tarter the quickest. I guess its working, the vet said her teeth looked great last time we were there.

I have brushed Rosie's teeth just one time. She didn't mind and I guess I should do it on a regular schedule, but I have never brushed a dogs teeth and I just can't make it a priority. The only reason I did it the one time was her breath smelled bad. I had the vet check her teeth and he said they were in good shape and the breath was the dog food. I changed food and her breath cleared up. but I use the Dental Chewz and another product that I get at the vet that is a little stick like two crosses put together. Having a senior moment and can't think of the name.

It's eating deer poo and turkey poo that gives Kodi bad breath!

I'm glad Elvis isn't the only avid poo hunter-eater! Deer, goose, other dog's, his own (we are working in that). Yuck!

Fortunately, for some reason he DOESN'T eat dog or cat poo. The worst thing is that he not only eats it, but ROLLS in it. (and he's mostly white!)

Karen, white/black it doesn't matter... It still stinks....even if there is no evidence of the mush on their coats. It is the only time I ever yell NO NO NO anymore is when they are rolling around in the grass.

We have been using Plaque Off for two years now and I thought Abby's teeth were doing pretty good but when the vet checked them he said the back teeth were not so good! Of course, he wants to make some money cleaning them.....lol I am tempted to try something else but am not sure what so I am very interested in this thread. McGee gets his teeth cleaned quite often since he's a little poop eater! If I can't find Abby's poop to scoop then I put McGee down and he will lead me right to it!!! I have to have the treats ready as soon as he finishes his business, though, or he'll grab a bite and he's very quick!
