Hair growth, then AND now...

I think it would be fun if we all would share pics of how our havs hair changes! from a short cut to growing it long again and all lenghts in between!

I'll start it out!

The first 2 pics are the day she was shaved down! She was about 9 months old ...
the next 2 pictures were taken today at 14 months old.
So this is about 5 months of growth. You can really see how much her hair has grown!! I haven't trimmed a hair on her, except for her bangs and paw pads, oh and her bottom! LOL OH and when my son dropped GUM in her coat and I couldn't get all of it out ...

I LOVE how she looks now! I know you'd like to grow her out, and I'm sure she would be beautiful long. But if you can't keep her long, see if you can keep her at this length. She looks adorable!

Here I go. First two pics are when Ache was 6 months in October and the groomer cut her bangs ( which I DIDN'T like at all ) The next two pics are now that she is 15 months. No one has cut her hair since October. As you can see, she has lost some hair in her ears because of her scratching due to allergies. So bad...

Not yet. We are going to the 3rd dry food, this time grain free. If this doesn't help... then I will try homecook or raw. The scratching is crazy. I feel so bad for her.

Misty was not shaved down when we got her, she was short and the difference in color is really remarkable. Her papers do state gold/white but it seems there was a lot more gold in her full adult coat then expected. Part of the problem was her allergies causing her to have a thin waxy coat. It will most probably be another 6 months before she is in full coat, the gold has grown in and is growing down her sides, a nice effect. The first picture is after I first got her, then inbetween and the last two are after a year. Note she does rub her beard off because of allergies giving a billy goat effect.

Her ears in the first pic look like Ache's... Is it food allergies?
