Where did my shy puppy go?

I have a monster on my hands today! She's already changed from the shy and timid little girl we picked up on Saturday (yes, just this last Saturday) to this crazed, growling and mouthy little speed monster. Good grief, she's into everything and boy oh boy does she have a one-track stubborn little personality. What would I have if I'd chosen the non-shy puppy on Saturday. OMG!

I sure wish I could take her for walks or something. We're both so tired of playing in the house here.

Get her a little harness --one for a cat and walk her. But she doesn't know any difference in house. Enjoy.

Not sure if she's old enough -- we got Baxter at 12 weeks -- but Baxter loves to play hide and seek. We hide treats and look for them on the "find it" command, and we hide toys, too. It's also a fun way to teach them your name. Walk around the corner and say "Find Diann" and then reward her when she finds you.

this is the best time for all kinds of training - you've got her in the house and she can focus.
Have fun with your little "monster". sounds like she's having lots of fun !

glad she is feeling at home!
She is TOO young for walks outside for sure! BUT you can get a pouch and take her everywhere to socialize her for sure!! Let her meet as many people as possible!
Enjoy this sweet, but crazy time! it sure goes fast!

Yay. Lucy. play the come game. You on one side of the house with treats and someone else upstairs or on the total otherwise of the house with treats .... And say. Lucy come back and forth. It really wears them out! And it teaches "come"

She's feeling at home. Just as it should be. As much as this is tiring, enjoy it. They grow up way too fast.

Yes, it does go fast, or so they say! I am so tired this summer, I can't begin to tell you....... I know I need to enjoy every minute with my little stinker, but there are days when I wonder if I wasn't And then I will pick up the little fur ball and he will lick my face......

That's what we call "coming out". Glad she found everything to her liking!

One observation of Lucy, I don't know if it's a breed trait or not. If she's doing something and I, in any way, try to distract her so she doesn't do it any more, she knows and she will remember and try over and over and over and over again to get back to what she wasn't supposed to be doing. She is one little stubborn little rascal.
