OSPCA Officer Suspended...Opinions Please

Ok Here's a worthwhile Thread. Read the article below. This guy was suspended after he rescued a dog from a boiling hot car and then handcuffed the owner to the car to wait for the cops. Now the really bad part of this apart from being a real lowlife scumbag for leaving your dog in a car for that long was that this guy got the snot beat out of him by other people for what he did....Yeah Now That's Real Justice...I have several of the articles including the apeal for the susension by the Public Against the OSPCA.

That makes me so angry. Pets can't speak for themselves and need us to protect them from harm, not place them in harms way. It's inconceivable to me that this man could be allowed, at some time in the future to get this dog back, or own another.

True justice IMHO would be to lock him in a car under the same circumstances so he could feel the animal's pain. My prayers go out to that dog.

That stinks! What if it was a two legged kid left in the hot car? Then he would have been a hero. I think we need to start a major letter writng campaign.

The thing that really got me was that there was even a witness that said that the Officer was doing his job. According to the Officer it was either confront the owner who was being rude and threatening or save the dog which was VSA and needed to revived. By the way seems to be recovering but has some braindamage already.

This is so sad! Hope and pray that justic is served and the court gives custody of the dog to reponsible and kind caregivers.

This makes me so angry. I can't believe he might get this dog back---well actually I can because we just had a case here where a dog was chained for so long the collar was actually embedded in her neck and had to be surgically removed. The owner pled no contest and the judge gave her back to him.
I pray the courts do better for this poor dog.
