Talking Beamer lost his first tooth!

Hey all..

Beamer lost his first baby tooth tonight! Not sure from where in his mout it came from?? kinda hard to tell.. He is 5 months and 4 days old. Is this pretty much normal that they should start falling out now??

Hey Congrats Beamer on the tooth loss. I like the fact that I can guage Radar's experiences by Beamers. I guess I should keep a close eye on Radar now to see whether or not he begins losing his teeth. Perhaps some harder things to bite on might be more suitable for him.

I just checked Radar's mouth this morning because he was chewing on something and I wanted to check his mouth. Well Radar is keeping Pace with Beamer that's for sure...Hmmm...brother's Eh. Radar has lost a lower right Canine and his left one is very loose. If I can save it I'l take a pic and perhaps put it in something. I got pics of Radar'a Mouth to show the missing tooth.

Good stuff Radar!
I would not have even known if my wife did not find the tooth on the carpet...

Yeah now the other one is pretty loose I've been trying to get him to spit it out but I don't want to force it just in case he gets hurt or it's not quite time yet. We've been playing some "Gimme That Tooth Tug-O-War".

Right on schedule. I actually found one of Kodi's and I have it in his photo book. I never found any of Shelby's.

Thumbs down

Speaking of losing a tooth...Radar finally lost his second tooth right next to the other one. I had a question...does the losing of the teeth affect the eating habits?? Radar doesn't seem to want to eat as much since losing both bottom teeth. My Wife also asked if Radar would lose the top teeth as well. I know it seems like a silly question but I told her that the top ones would fall out as well.

If it's common for them to be losing teeth a five months old, I'm confused. When I took Milo to the vet last week he said Milo still has about five baby teeth and he recommended we have them pulled if they don't come out soon. Based on your observations, he should be right on schedule. Not that I want to rush to have him put under to have anything done right now.

His bite looks perfect. Is there any possible serious consequence to not pulling baby teeth if they don't come out soon? Milo will be six months old on the 23rd.
