facial hair

Java's hair is always in his eyes. I don't see his eyes 90% of the time. He doesnt like bows.. he knows he's a boy.
Does it eventually move out of the way when it gets long enough or do you have to trim it?
He has such pretty eyes i'd like to see them sometimes.
But i don't want to cut it short if it'll eventually part.

I have one that Ive left natural and her hair doesn't get in her eye's. Her hair will cover her eyes but it doesn't get in them. I have seen pictures of some Havanese who just plan have a ton of facial hair so I think you have to wait it out and just see what happens. Maddie had a facial hair cut and I was very upset at first because my roommate took her in with out asking. But I have grown to really like it. Her face is more like a puppy before it grows out. I was worried about it bothering her eyes when it grew out. I'm not sure about that yet. She does seem to be tearing more.

Maddie at 5mo old

if you don't want to put it back, you should probably take him to a groomer so they can give him nice looking bangs!

I thought you were referring to the strange hairs that start to show up on our aging faces.

My grandmother used to shave, I thought it was fascinating. Now I am thinking about doing the same.

Back to hair in the face. Rosie likes it there. If I get it all combed back and even sprayed, she takes her paw and pulls the hair back down. But they can see. Sometimes I don't know how. Rosie sits in the window sill and watches for her daddy to turn in the drive and then runs to the door. She sorta has the Veronica Lake style, one eye is not covered so much.
