Saw this in National Geographic and it made me sad

I know other cultures don't value dogs the same way we do, but this just makes me so sad:

It's as sad for the tiger as it is for the puppy. At least dogs aren't on the brink of extinction.

I should not have opened it either; the look of fear on that poor dog's face has made me sick.

I hope they could catch the tiger BEFORE it got to the puppy.

Ok, I am not going to open the link

I saw a show on TV once about other cultures eating dogs (it was brutal), I was literally sick to my stomach and couldn't eat for an entire day! I cried myself to sleep that night. It is one of the saddest things I have watched.

On the other hand, in Cuba, we do not eat dogs (that I know about), but the economic conditions have forced thousands of people to throw their dogs away and the streets are littered with emaciated dogs, dead dogs, sick dogs, is incredible and so very very sad!
