Pumpkin

I have been reading that pumpkin is good for dogs with diarrhea. Is this so and can I give it to puppies?

Thanks.

I've used it...just a tablespoon or so mixed in with their food...two of mine will eat and one will not so your puppies may not eat it........

Tucker loves pumpkin! It works well for diarrhea and constipation. I've found that it works after the first serving, but continue to give it to him about two more times as a precaution.

Again, RWB, don't introduce more than one food product to your pups at once. They are very young still. If the soft poops continue just have the vet do a stool check, maybe parasites is the cause for the soft poops. This is normal on many pups, they get it from their moms and a quick treatment of meds will take care of the problem.

I agree, I would take a stool sample in to be checked by your vet before you do anything.
