canned food only

I have been played by my older hav for years now. We have tried it seems like every brand of dry kibble and she usually eats it for a day or two then loses interest. We have tried to wait her out but she can go up to 4-5 day without eating. MAybe she knows we'll cave first (she does sneak our neighbors outdoor cats food after a couple days.) I have been cooking for her but it has become too much work and the only commercial dog food she will not refuse is canned.

So I usually keep on hand a couple of cans of Natural Life canned for emergencies. Is it ok to only feed canned food or is kibble necessayr (not that i can make her eat it!)
Is there a better brand of canned that I should use if I am only giving her canned? Will it change her stool to only eat canned? I am so not interested in giving more butt vaths than absolutely necesary

TIA

Thanks Dave I had tried to pull something up through search but these did not pop up. Good reading.

Vanilla thanks you too even though she thinks it was her who finally wore me down to only feeding her canned food
