Our two boys are the same way. You should always monitor them to make sure they don't eat something harmful. A lot of plants,berries, and wild mushroomsare poisonous and it isn't good to let them chew on sticks or wood. Our vet told us that splinters from sticks or wood can migrate through the body if eaten and cause an abcess. It drives me crazy some days because I'm always pulling things away from them. We have pecan trees near the dog lot and everyday it was a game for them to grab a pecan before I could catch them.
