Does anyone use Natural Balance roll type food?

Just wondering what you think about it -- if your dog likes it? Is it healthy for havs? I had never heard of this type food until recently. I only knew about dry food or canned -- the roll thing is new to me! Thanks for any input.

I use the rolls for training treats (I just cut into small cubes) - my dogs both LOVE it.

I only feed it to Bella, because it's all I can get her to eat! I don't think it's the best food, but it's better than her not eating.

I have used it as a high-value training treat, specially when Kodi was younger. Dogs definitely seem to love it, and it is easily cut into small cubes.

I wouldn't feed it as a regular diet though, if you have any other options... look at the ingredients list. There are a LOT of preservatives and sugar in it. (I think you'd have to have a lot of preservatives in a soft food that is just packaged in a plastic roll!)

Karen's on to them. LOL Without giving you all the details I'll give you part of what Sabine said about these rolls. Another one is Fresh Pet....Here is what she said. .. Salt is a cheap way to make food palatable to dogs and it often gets them addicted (you'll hear so many owners of fussy dogs say "oh, finally something he's eating - he LOVES it" - yeah, because it's full of salt), so they will refuse to eat healthier food that is less salty." In this case , it's the third listed ingredient. Not sure if you know much about pet food ingredient lists, but that tells you there is (to quote Sabine again) insane levels of salt.

Yeah, it's pretty much like hot dogs for dogs... OK for the baseball game, but not for dinner every night!

But when you get right down to it, hot dogs don't even TASTE that good...until you bury them in chili and cheese or something!
