Karen - These Pics are for you

This morning while I was trying to get some nice pics of the dogs (which of course I couldn't since they wouldn't stop running like Maniacs!), I noticed that the snow brings out Bumi's markings and thought of you.
I snapped these for you!

Enjoy!

Oh! I LOVE his coloring, Zury!!! Snow again? I don't know what's with that, but you people in "balmy" Connecticut have gotten way more snow that we have this winter. It snowed for a while this morning, but after two 50 degree days, it melted as soon as it touched the ground.

BAD news.... I swatted a mosquito yesterday!!!

I love the pictures! Normally, Lizzie looks like a little white dog. BUT when she is out in the snow you can really see the apricot and black.

This winter has been bizarre. We get dumped with snow, then it melts and feels like spring. Now we are getting snow from this new system

@Karen a mosquito? I did see a dead fly on the porch the other day, but have not seen mosquitos. Taking Lizzie in for her heart worm test in a few weeks.

Lynne,

Toby got his Rabies shot this past weekend and I got him his heartworm meds to start him next month. Bumi takes them on the 14th of each month, so they'll be on the same day from now on.
With this crazy weather, I want to take no chances.

We have had 2-3 days with high 50s and today is in the 30s. It should melt by this afternoon!

Hi Zury,

I figured I should jump in and introduce myself, since I'm heading to Pam & Tom's next weekend to pick up my new Starborn puppy! Karen and I "met" a couple days ago.

Your Toby is beautiful! I was hoping for a puppy from that litter, but because there were only 2, I had to wait until the next litter. No problem, though, because Cheers (soon-to-be Maccabee) looks like an awesome addition to our family.

We are so excited. I don't know how I will make it through the week.

All tips are welcome.

Laurie

Laurie,

Congratulations and Welcome!!!

Your Pup is Toby's cousin (and half Brother to Kodi).

Cheers/Maccabee is Gorgeous, did you see his legs? They have some tan in there! Beautiful!

My best tip is to go with plenty of time. We couldn't spend too much time with Tom and Pan because of the Holidays, but I would have loved to stay with them a little longer, I loved talking to Pam (of course, Tom was out with the boys and my husband checking out the horses).
Bring your Camera so you can take pics and Please, make sure you give Brio a kiss from his brother Toby!

Zury,

My family visited last weekend and met everyone (Pam, puppies, dogs, horses) except Tom, who was not home.

Brio is beautiful. Has Toby silvered , like his brother?

I loved all the puppies, but my daughter has a favorite: Cheers. Pam and the temperament testing confirmed he appears to be a good fir for us. We are so excited!

Laurie,

Toby has not silvered, and I don't think he will. He is still pitch black with a white line from the top of his head all the way down to his hoohoo. His muzzle is a mix of white with black, it almost looks grey!

Check out his latest pics here http://www.havaneseforum.com/showthread.php?t=16026 Scroll to the last page for pics of this morning.
