Question Bedtime sleep

Hi all..
Just a question on how long do your guys actually sleep at night for actual bedtime? (i mean lights out and actual sleep, and not the napping they do with eyes half open watching whats going on around them)

Beamer gets about 6 hours a night of REAL sleep when my wife and I go to bed... Is this enough? He seems to be tired after we wake him for potty, and goes right back to bed while we are getting ready for work..

What about everyone else?

Thanks!

We put Oreo down at about 11:30 - 12 midnight, when hubby and I go to bed. And he sleeps solid until about7:30-8am when Eric, our eldest takes him out to potty. So for Oreo that's about 8hrs give or take.

Kubrick goes to sleep with us around 1am and sleeps until my boyfriend wakes him up for potty around 7am. He then goes right back in bed with me and will sleep until whenever I wake up. If it's the weekend it's around 10am, if it's a weekday it's around 8:30am. He isn't tired at 7am though, he gets in bed all excited and tries to wake ME up until he realizes he's not going to do it and falls asleep.

So I guess overall he gets 6 hours of undisturbed sleep and then sleeps for about another 2 hours before getting up.

However, he does sleep a lot during the day and he's always sleeping on the couch before we actually put him to bed at night, so I would think he sleeps a lot more than that overall.

I'm not really sure, as Nico has been sleeping with my 13 year old daughter and she sleeps like a log. They go to bed between 10:30 and 11:00 or so (not sure when they actually go to SLEEP) and whenever I go by in the morning (be it 6:30 or 9:00), Nico is awake but just hanging out in his bed or crate. Up until a couple weeks ago Nico was sleeping in my room, and he would be up at 5:30 every morning.

Ryan, it's a dogs life... sleep, eat, play, nap, belly rub, eat, sleep, nap, play...

Jasper slept longer at night as a puppy---now at 1.5 years he is waking us up at 6:30... it's not to go potty though-- he can hold that for ever --he's just had enough of the crate. I think they are pretty good at getting the sleep they need.

Pablo sleeps from about 1:00 a.m. until dawn. Then he sleeps a good part of the afternoon. Does any other Hav take long naps during the day? Pablo is nearly 10 months old and maybe he needs more sleep because he's a puppy. Thanks.

Well, poor Winston follows my schedule..

which is a wee wacky. I try to go to bed with DH by 10:30....most of the time it works. I am up at 4:30 though. So as he is my shadow, he is too. He goes outside and falls back asleep downstairs. He sleeps a LOT during the day, he roams from room to room following me and plopping down wherever I happen to be.

Gee, you guys stay up late!! We are all in bed by 9:00 PM. Hubby is in bed by 8:00 PM. Of course, he gets up at 2:30 AM and I get up at 4:30 AM.
On weekends, when we can sleep in, the girls let us sleep until 6:00 AM but then they are ready for all of us to be up. It's breakfast time for them and play time.

I am with you Susan, I got up at 8pm and read for an hour or so but the girls are sound asleep on the bed at that time. Hubby gets up at 5am on weekdays so they are ready to potty, eat and play then.
Weekends are tough cause they are so used to getting up early!
You guys are lucky to have them either sleep late, or at least go back to bed with you!!!
