What a good hunter - and resourceful canine Mum - Frolic is! A nursery rhyme song:

Bye, Baby Bunting;
Mummy's going hunting
to find a little rabbit skin
to wrap her Baby Bunting in.

The original is Daddy, but here at home, it's Mummy who goes hunting; same for Frolic!

Loved the story of Frolic approving Lori for Cooper!

Interesting about Frolic approving the new owner. My 1st had a total of 3 puppies and they all live here. Inky, if you remember, passed away when her puppies were 2 weeks old. When the new owners of Inky's pups I placed came, it was my 1st who came in and gave each a kiss on the nose

Razzle didn't seem very perturbed by the idea of losing Kodi and his siblings. She looked like she was just about "done" with them! Having two semi-adult sons, I can understand the feeling!

Ahaha! I was worried when I saw the title, I know how bunnies can perk up their interest, I'm always worried about Gucci taking off after one if she isn't on a leash.

Very relieved to hear it is a fluffy, washable one! Too cute, now a momma who spoils her young, imagine that!

Yesterday, the last puppy from the litter went to his new home. Frolic had a new spring in her step, and I believe she was actually relieved. She was sitting in my chair with me for a good while, then got down, found the bunny, and put it back in the toy box. A little while later, she got up again, took it out of the toy box, buried it on the sofa, and came back in my chair.

I gave her a good hug and kiss, told her she had done a great job, and I do believe she understood it all.

If you read the other thread, about when she was first bred for this litter, she came to tell me when it was time to breed.

Both she and the Dad, Posh, have real brains. The owners of these puppies are going to need to be on their toes to be sure they are the ones doing the training.
