Frolic caught bunny for her babies

Frolic always tells us when it's time to feed her babies, when it's time to put them in their sleeping pen, when it's time for them to come out and play, and when it's time to put them to bed for the night. 2 have already left, but there are still 3 here leaving this week.

Lately, she has been grabbing this toy dead rabbit, walking around with it, and going "ugg, ugg, ugk" when she wants us to bring them in the living room after they've been napping. We always ask, "did you catch a rabbit for your babies?" to which she shows great pride in her success at the hunt.

Tonight she did the same thing, but tried to throw it over into the expen in the living room. She didn't make it, so she got up on the sofa, jumped in the pen, and pulled it through the bars.

She's a great mother, and a great entertainer.

Will all of her babies be leaving? If so, will she be upset when they are gone?

Wow, one of life's miracles. I love that she is such a great mommy!

Makes me sad to think soon her babies will be gone. Tom, does she act sad for days after they are gone?

She's had several litters and knows what happens. She's fine with it. Loriabigail came to pick up Cooper day before yesterday. Frolic put her front paws up on Lori's leg. I told Lori that Frolic knew what she was there for and approved of her. I don't think she believed me, but it was true.

What a sweet momma. How many litters do you usually let one of your females have?
