Kipper will lay down sometimes and eat, he mainly stands half in/half out of his crate to eat and has a ritual that he has to "brush off" every single piece of his kibble before he will eat it. He takes it and wipes it off on his bed, eats it and then does it again with another piece. It cracks me up.

Lizzie stands while eating. One of our cats will lay down and pull the bowl closer and eat.

Jasmine takes a big mouthful and dumps it in her bed, then eats the pieces one by one, and repeat.

Ollie is a drive by eater. he'll walk by and take a piece of kibble in his mouth, walk off with it for a2-3 minutes, then stand there and eat it.

If he's hungry or it's something tasty, he'll stand over his bowl and chow down.

since Tillie gets homecooked... she EATS standing up,is DONE in about 20 seconds.

However, back when she still had kibble, she would take a mouthful, jump to the couch, drop it and eat it one by one... leaving most of it in the bowl.

Whimsy stands there and can hardly wait for me to put the bowl down and then she gobbles it right up! No laying down on the job for her

Mine Stand. Bumi goes around the kitchen a few times while I tell him "Bumi, Go eat your food" Sometimes I have to physically pick him up and put him in front of his plate.

They do eat somewhat fast (especially Toby) since I take the food away about 15 mins after putting it out. (I feed Raw so I can't leave it out too long).

Brody has always been pretty enthusiastic about eating his meals.

He gets his breakfast at work on a dish. I put it in his pen and then he's ramped up to get in there and get at it. He gobbles it up and then goes into his crate for the next couple of hours. I'm not sure this is because he's so hungry or just because it's his routine. On weekends when we get up a bit later he doesn't usually eat breakfast.

At lunch, he gets his food in a food ball. He's only now just starting to sometimes not want this meal or rolls the ball around until only a few kibbles come out and then abandons it. He needs a fair bit of room to roll the ball around. When he's hungry he is pretty determined about getting the food out. He used to actually try and jump up and smack the ball out of my hand to get to it faster.

For dinner he gets his meal served in the Twister toy. Sometimes he wants this almost instantly upon getting home and at other times he wants it a bit later. He'll stand right on it to make the wedges rotate. He has to be pretty active to get the food, so no laying down on the job. He usually zips through it pretty fast.

When I just bowl fed him he mostly just gobbled it right up. Occasionally he'd go back and forth with a few pieces of kibble at a time and carry it to the living room, but really since my apartment is so small he doesn't really need to. Very rarely do I have to take up his meal because he hasn't eaten it. I usually give him an hour or so.

My guys stand. Finn goes in his crate and waits while I get his plate ready and put it down. Neither one will eat if I am standing near them - they wait until I leave their area.
